What is a Trusted Operating System?
The new commercial market uses a more specific meaning for trusted OS
In general, it involves three components:
- 1) a mandatory access policy
- 2) a least privilege model (admin control)
- 3) independent validation (assurance)
In the commercial world, a C2 OS is not a TOS and a B1 system barely is (missing #2)
